24 Hours of Reality: The Dirty Weather Report, Join the Conversation, November 14 & 15th

Share

Calling all Climate Mamas and Papas, join us as we “keep the conversation going” on climate change. Beginning at 8pm ET and over the next 24 hours, millions of people will join a conversation on climate change, broadcast live online. BE one of those people. Watch the event unfold live here on ClimateMama where we will be live streaming the entire production, beginning on Wednesday, November 14th at 8pm ET. You can also tune in directly at the Climate Reality landing page.

The conversation will include discussions with noted climate scientists, elected leaders, business leaders, activists, celebrities, and Climate Reality Project Founder and Chairman and former Vice President Al Gore. With a presidential election that didn’t even mention “climate change,” Hurricane Sandy literally slammed open our “front doors” and effectively DEMANDED that climate change be put front and center on the political and media agenda.

LIVE STREAM:

Take the Climate Reality Pledge:

“I pledge my name in support of a better tomorrow, one fueled by clean energy. I demand action from the world’s leaders to work toward developing clean energy solutions. I pledge to demand action from our leaders. And I pledge to share this global promise. By uniting our voices, we have the power to change the world.“

24 Hours of Reality is coming to us at an incredibly timely and topical moment. Our own Climate Mama, Harriet Shugarman, will be on the broadcast during the 10am ET hour on November 15th talking with Maggie Fox, President and CEO of Climate Reality about the role of “Trusted Messengers” i.e. YOU – parents – in promoting action on climate change!

So grab your kids, your family, your friends, and make watching 24 Hours, part of your family plan. Let us know what you think, discuss the issues with your family, and then WIN the conversation on climate change. We all need to be involved in defining and working on solutions!
