Climate Change is COLOR BLIND AND NON-PARTISAN: It impacts us all…

Share

Our friends at the Union of Concerned Scientists just released a wonderful short video where two scientists — one who has usually voted for Republicans, the other for Democrats — have come together to urge leaders of both parties to find bipartisan solutions to human-caused climate change. Grab the kids in your life and watch this short video.

Climate Change is here, its real, its now. According to the US National Climatic Data Center, 2012 was the HOTTEST year ever recorded in the US, by far. Climate Change impacts us all, whether we are democrats or republicans, black or white, gay, straight, young or old. It’s time that our politicians face reality.

In 2013 we need all our Climate Mamas and Papas – particularly those in the US where climate change HAS become a partisan issue – to help urge their President, local, state and national leaders to make real progress on climate change policies and solutions. We need to be prepared and ready for the next Superstorm Sandy, and begin in earnest to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions now.

Yours,

Climate Mama
