Global Team of 200: Moms Doing Good, For Good!

Share

I am THRILLED to be part of the Global Team of 200, a highly specialized group of members of Mom Bloggers for Social Good that concentrates on issues involving women and girls, children, world hunger and maternal health. As we often discuss here at ClimateMama, amplifying our voices is key to raising attention to pressing issues. Through the Global Team of 200, we at ClimateMama will be sharing and helping to “connect the dots” on how climate change exacerbates problems for women and girls in both developed and developing countries. We will also be pointing out some of the ways that together we can work to adapt and mitigate these impacts through education, information, advocacy and action!

Our Motto at the Global Team of 200: Individually we are all powerful. Together we can change the world. We believe in the power of collective action to help others and believe in ourselves to make this world a better place for our children and the world’s children.

Each month we will be blogging about and for different global causes, stay tuned and check back here and on our collective and individual sites for posts this month on behalf of Oxfam, UNICEF and the World Food Program.

Check out some of the amazing Moms that make up the Global Team of 200 – how they share, give and care. Follow us on Twitter, #globalteamof200, Facebook, Pinterest and Tumbler.

Special thanks to the amazing Jennifer James of Mom Bloggers for Social Good for putting together this incredible group of women.

Yours,

Climate Mama
