As we ready to welcome the New Year and say goodbye to 2024, many of us will celebrate and be in community with friends and loved ones. Some of us will, by choice or circumstance, bring in the new year alone. This reflection is for all our Climate Mamas and Papas the world over.
2025 will bring changes big and small to us as individuals, to our families and to the world. There will be plenty of time for reflection, time for action and reaction and so much to share and discuss.
Today, tonight, this morning or this afternoon, depending where you are in the world, we welcome the New Year together; with celebration and perhaps, with trepidation. We want to send our heartfelt thanks to YOU. We value our connections, our community and our collective love, work and active hope for our children and all children.
To 2025 – and to all that it will bring. Together we can and will create a more hopeful today and tomorrow. WE MUST.
