It’s a wRAP: March 5, 2010

This week in Climate Mama News you will find our last report from the Vancouver Olympics; join us as we sit down with Chris Kantowicz to find out more about Project Blue Sky. At Climate Mama, we are sad to say goodbye to the Olympics, and we hope you enjoyed joining us on our month long Olympic “discovery and adventure.” We were inspired by the sustainability efforts of the city and people of Vancouver and the 2010 Olympic Committee as well as the efforts taken and programs developed to educate spectators, athletes and sponsors on ways that they too could reduce their carbon footprints, both during and after the games.

This week we are excited to introduce you to our March Climate Papa, Ric Stott, an architect, artist, engineer and boy scout!! Ric helps us usher in our “home month” as we look at ways that individuals and organizations can do more to adopt environmentally sustainable practices at, in and around the home. In the News this week we look at a “Green” school project from Baltimore, Md. Also, we have two new partners we wanted to introduce you to, Explore.org and TheClimateSummit.org. Join millions of individuals around the world and “turn out the lights” to raise awareness on climate change!
